At Glimmering Gems we are dedicated to helping animals. We hope that people will be inspired to volunteer for for a cause that helps to save the lives of animals. All to often people see animals as disposable. This is truly not the case, animals should be considered loving, long term members of the family. Many animals have risked their lives for their families, every day animals are saving lives as they are employed in law enforcement, finding land mines in foreign countries and many other unnamed and thankless jobs.
Our family routinely volunteers, in 2006 we volunteered to save sea turtles in Costa Rica, and we plan to take at least one volunteer vacation each year. Each individual person can truly make a difference meanwhile genuinely enriching their own lives. Please find some amount of time to donate. Each day, hour, or moment that you take out of your life to help another truly counts.
